'Send Shell to Sea'; film and discussion evening about Ierland, Nigeria en Shell

A film and discussion evening about Shell's unethical practice on the west coast of Ireland that parallel's with Shell's shocking behaviour in Nigeria. Shell is trying to construct a high pressure gas pipeline across fragile peat bogland environment in county Mayo, western Ireland against the wishes and consent of local people. They have requested that the gas be processed at sea as it is in the North Sea. This evening will mark the 13th anniversary of the execution of Ken Saro Wiwa and 8 other Ogoni activists by the Nigerian state for campaigning against the devastation of the Niger delta by Shell.
