On May 26 ICCO alliance organizes the two annual Verkuyl Lecture. This year's lecture on: The value of us.

"The value we" includes how we handle the changes in the global society. In which ways do we solve the great challenges of our time (climate, energy, food, conflict)? Do we provide synergy or do we stand in the way? And what "we" are we talking about?

Speakers:

Keynote speaker is Mr.. Herman Wijffels. He was chairman of the Executive Board of Rabobank Netherlands, chairman of the Social Economic Council (SER) and Dutch director at the World Bank in Washington. He also submitted as the basis for informateur Balkenende IV. Currently he is professor of sustainability and social change "at Utrecht University.

Besides Mr. Wijffels there are more who speak at the lecture Verkuyl. Eelke de Jong of the University of Nijmegen and Dr Manuela Kalsky, director Dominican Study Centre for Theology and Society.
