CEC - Centre for Education and Communication

CEC was founded in 1982, and has since 1994 been functioning as a labour resource centre with a focus on labour research, campaign, advocacy and net working. CEC observes India's integration into the global economic system and the impact is has on the workers in India. In partnership with trade unions, labour support organizations and people's movements, CEC works to strenghten the human rights at the work place. While learning from labour movements, it also contributes towards knowledge building.
