Even though it takes a lot of patience

It is often thought and even said that Dutch tax policy is in part determined by accountancy firms (such as PwC and Deloitte) and law firms (such as Loyens & Loeff, or Stibbe). But is it true? At SOMO, we wanted to find out. Because, as a research organisation, it is of course our job to get to the bottom of rumours and suspicions, and not just accept what others say. This is becoming unique in the fact-free world in which we now seem to live. So, we need to be passionate, and do serious, in-depth research.
