Based on a ‘freedom of information’ request and research by SOMO, Platform Authentieke Journalistiek (Platform Authentic Journalism) published an article, for Follow The Money(opens in new window) , about a lobby for Dutch multinationals called ABDUP. This lobby represents companies like AkzoNobel, Shell, DSM, Unilever and Philips. The article zooms in on the activities of ABDUP and the influence they exercise through lobbying on Dutch government policies.
