There is still plenty of room for improving the standards in the Agreement on Sustainable Garment and Textiles, concludes the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in a report(opens in new window) published on 15 July 2020. SOMO and the Clean Clothes Campaign (SKC) welcome the OECD’s recommendations, but emphasize that more is needed than an assessment of written standards to determine how companies party to the Covenant are actually performing.
