Camiel Donicie serves as Communications Officer. Working closely together with SOMO’s researchers, networks and partners, he ensures that the work of SOMO is effectively shared with the outside world through its own channels and the media.
Before joining SOMO, he held communications and advocacy positions at two international NGOs (FIAN and Friends of the Earth International), with a focus on human rights and sustainable food systems. He also worked as a journalist for various Dutch media.
Camiel obtained an MSc in Political Science and an MA in Journalism, both at the University of Amsterdam.
