Thijs Coesel serves as SOMO’s System Administrator. He ensures the smooth operation of SOMO’s IT systems and provides support to its users. He also conducts research and gives advice about the use of IT in research and publications.

Before joining SOMO in 2014, he was responsible for systems administration and support at the academic computer centre SARA and the printing firm Dijkman Offset.

Thijs has studied Digital Communication Systems at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht.
